Dense, and dark maroon in colour. Rimmed by a purple hue.
Lifted and intense aromatics of black currant and blueberry fruits, aged
cigar box, dried thyme and mocha. Just as the aromatics are complex, the
palate continues in this vein. Layers of dark berry fruits, briar and grilled
meats lead into a velvety and talc like mouthfeel. The fine but voluminous
tannins provide great structure and underpin the juiciness of the fruits.
Elements of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and vanilla cream finish the
wine with a touch of sweetness.
