2021 Louis Vineyard Picnic Block Viognier
The Picnic Block sits secluded on our Louis Vineyard adjacent to a shaded pond. Planted to Viognier in 2002, these 20 year old vines produce a complex wine displaying lavender, peach and apricot, with a hint of fennel bulb. The wine is a wonderful expression of Viognier and of terroir, with the wine taking on flavours and textures characteristic of the block itself - particularly moreish savoury and sea salt notes.
