The 2018 Sangiovese displays an array of fresh, bright red currants & blueberries with a subtle 'ferrous' tang supported by a generous mid palate, savoury, chalky tannins & fresh acidity so typical of the variety.

Vineyard & Winemaking

Our Heathcote vineyard was founded upon ancient Cambrian greenstone which formed as a result of volcanic activity on the ancient seabed 500 million years ago.

With complex geology & carefully selected old world clones, our aim with the Estate Sangiovese is to highlight the purity & generosity of fruit, synonymous with Heathcote, coupled with grace, elegance & complexity.
