Pale salmon pink in colour with fresh rose water and strawberry on nose. Lifted cranberry and wild berry on palate, balaced with savoury tannins, nice drinkable acidity.
Machine picked Sangiovese from Greenstone Heathcote Vineyard, after crush fruit into stainless steel tank, drain free run into barrels to ferment. Hand picked Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from Yarra Valley Vineyard, whole bunch pressed into tank, cold settle for overnight then racked into barrels for fermentation. Kept in barrels separate before blending. 3 months in oak
